Why Gulfport, Mississippi?

Deb lives here now, the weather is pleasant all winter, and there's a beach.
This section of the Gulf is a series of small towns and rural country. There's a strong tourism economy, but lots of poverty. And they've been through some serious natural disasters.
We think it's a great microcosm of rural communities.

Who will be there?

Deb and Becky, plus you and a couple of your best buddies so you have someone to work with at the event and back at home.
You'll join the other rural folks who attend, and they'll have good ideas to share, too.
Maybe 30 to 50 people total? Deb says maybe 90!

What will we be doing?

You'll start working on your project right away as Becky walks you through the Idea Friendly Method. Then Deb will facilitate a workshop in IF, answering questions and giving you specific ideas you can use on your project.

We'll head downtown for food and to walk around. And not just any walk around but a guided discussion of possibilities. You'll get practical ideas you can use in your community.

What topics do you need most?

Rather than an agenda set months in advance based on what WE think you need, we'll ask you right on site what topics you need most.
Based on your needs and input, we'll pull up the relevant detailed videos from our archive for on the spot watch parties and Q&A. You'll be learning from the videos and learning how to do great watch party discussions when you get back home.

Side trip to Pascagoula, Mississippi to visit Anchor Square, a tiny house market village
Individual sit-down sessions with one of us
